Description
This was a custom handle commission for someone who finds abused Japanese knives and spends 15+ hours to re-condition them. He was most of the way done with bringing this knife back to life and decided to have me make a new handle for it. I have made a few handles now in this shape that I call the “Flying V” and I love the lines. It is a great non-traditional shape to go on a very traditional knife. Tasmanian Blackwood is some of the most beautiful wood I have worked with.
