Support a Ukrainian Craftsman!
Eugene at Epsilon Forge is from Ukraine and despite the conflict rippling across his country he is pushing ahead to pursue his craft. On top of the struggles we are all aware of in Ukraine, Eugene faces electricity outages and a frequent lack of materials.
He has crafted an awesome mini-nakiri that I knew I had to make a handle for, using dual tone Ebony and African Blackwood in a unique shape.
This blade would be fantastic to use on peppers, cheese, garlic, shallots, and other smaller produce. It has an 80mm edge length and 220mm overall, topped off with a rustic finish and unique hamon (Hamon is the diagonal dark line on the face of the blade, it is made by adding clay to the blade surface during heat treat).
Included with purchase is a soft case, oil for when the wood becomes dry, some stickers from me, and some beautiful cards from Eugene (Which were made with a hand-carved stamp!)
