This fearless deep blue beauty is known as a bold campground and picnic visitor in the Rocky Mountains. It can also be a noisy bird, sometimes heard imitating the sounds of other animals. Steller’s Jays are one of the few birds who use mud, with sticks and twigs, to build their nests.
